Sometimes eating healthy...

Sometimes eating healthy means sacrificing flavor... I don't care what anyone else says. However, sometimes it just means decreasing your portion size and eating slowly. Here's a couple more meals we made this week.

This is a home-made tomato-basil soup, with a vegetarian sandwich (Basil & Pepper Mayo, Tomatoes, Sprouts, Havarti Cheese and Spinach on a French Baguette.) I'm not much for vegetarian meals, but this was very filling and satisfying. It took a long time to de-seed and peel the tomatoes though.

Last night we made sirloin fillets (4oz portions), rosemary potatoes, and sauteed green beans.

Tonight we are headed over to Mike's house where Mike and Jen will be preparing entrees for us. The theme is Polynesian, but I'm unsure if our pineapple upside down cake we've prepared qualifies. It wasn't easy finding Polynesian dessert ideas. Oh, and tonight's food will not fall into the healthy category. You've got to splurge every once and a while.
